About Us

Where Local Knowledge Makes the Difference

Shorter Roofing is a local roofing company built around one simple idea: homeowners and property owners in Shorter and across central Alabama deserve a roofing contractor who shows up, communicates honestly, and stands behind the work. As a licensed and insured roofing contractor, we've seen firsthand how central Alabama's heat, humidity, and seasonal storms wear down shingles, flashing, and decking over time, and we build every repair and installation around those realities.

What sets our company apart from other local roofing experts is simple: we handle roofing and construction under one roof. If a re-roof uncovers rotten decking, damaged framing, or other structural issues, our team addresses it directly rather than pausing your project to bring in another contractor. Combine that with straightforward quoting and direct communication with the owner instead of a commission-based sales team, and you get a roofing experience built on transparency, not pressure.

Our roofing services cover the full range of residential and commercial needs, including:

Roof repair
Roof replacement
Storm damage roofing
Shingle roofing
Metal roofing
Commercial roofing

A Message From Our Owner

Roofing Built on Straightforward Service

Phil Bevilacqua

Founder

I started Shorter Roofing because too many homeowners in Shorter and across central Alabama were getting the runaround from big roofing outfits: pushy sales pitches, confusing quotes, and subcontractors who disappear once the check clears. I wanted to build a roofing company that does things differently.

Because we handle roofing and construction together, we can fix structural issues the moment we find them instead of sending you to another contractor. When you call (334) 245-8055, you're talking directly with me, not a sales team working on commission.

Our Promise

Every roof repair, replacement, or inspection comes with an honest assessment and a straightforward quote, with no inflated numbers or pressure tactics.

Our Approach

We pair roofing expertise with construction know-how, so structural problems get solved on the spot instead of becoming a second project down the road.

Why Choose Us

Trusted, Reliable & Insured

Choosing a roofing contractor is about more than price. It's about knowing the crew on your roof is licensed, insured, and genuinely invested in getting the job right the first time. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every residential and commercial roofing project we take on, and it's why so many central Alabama property owners consider us trusted local experts. Reach out today to request a quote and experience the difference for yourself.
